Desktop Software

Windows and macOS software for daily operations. We build desktop applications for work that needs speed, direct access to devices or independence from the internet.

What we build

  • Windows and macOS applications for daily operations
  • Offline operation, so work continues when the internet does not
  • Printer, scanner and device connections at the point of work
  • Role-based access to your data, set for each role

When desktop is the right choice

A desktop application suits work that needs speed. It suits work that needs direct access to devices, such as printers and scanners. It also suits work that must continue without the internet.

A web app suits other cases. If your users only need a browser, we say so. We recommend the approach that fits your users and budget, whether desktop, web or mobile.

Ask yourself three questions. Does the work stop when the connection drops? Does it need a printer or scanner beside the user? Does speed at the screen matter more than reach from anywhere? Each yes points toward desktop.

Common questions

When is desktop better than web?

Desktop is better when the work needs speed, direct access to devices or independence from the internet. Otherwise a web app may fit better, and we say so in the free session.

Does the software work without internet?

Yes. We build offline operation into desktop applications. Our prize bond software for dealers is offline-first, so it keeps working without a connection. Ask us which parts of your workflow need a connection, and we plan around them. Tell us which tasks must keep running offline.

Can it print receipts and connect to devices?

Yes. We build printer, scanner and device connections. One of our applications prints receipts on a thermal printer, and another supports barcode-driven sales. We confirm the exact devices with you before we build.

Can staff have different access levels?

Yes. We build role-based access, so each role sees the data it needs. We agree the roles with you in the free session. Tell us who works with the data, and we plan the access around the people.

Tell us what your team does all day. We will tell you whether desktop is the right fit.
