Cash Accounts act as the central repositories for tracking your physical cash vaults and business bank accounts. They provide a real-time view of your liquidity and a detailed history of all transactions affecting your balances.

The dashboard provides a comprehensive view of all your cash and bank accounts, displaying their current balances and statuses.
Key Actions:
- View Balances: Quickly check the current balance of any cash vault or bank account.
- Generate Statements: View all transactions affecting a specific account.
- Export to PDF: Download account statements for external reporting.
Managing Cash Accounts
To create a new cash account or modify an existing one, navigate to the Cash Accounts section and select Create or click on an existing account to edit.
Configuration Fields:
- Account Name: A descriptive name for the account (e.g., "Main Cash Vault", "Primary Bank Account").
- Account Type: Select either Cash Vault (physical cash) or Bank Account.
- Currency: The primary currency for this account.
- Initial Balance: Set an opening balance if this is a newly tracked account.
Account Statements
Account statements provide a chronological ledger of all money flowing in and out of a specific account, ensuring complete traceability.
Statement Features:
- Transaction History: See every sale, purchase, expense, transfer, or manual payment affecting the account.
- Running Balance: Track how the account balance changed after each transaction.
- Filtering: Filter transactions by date range or transaction type.
Exporting Statements
You can easily export your account statements as a professional PDF document for auditing or sharing with stakeholders.

- Retail Register Management: Create separate "Cash Vault" accounts for Register 1 and Register 2 to isolate shift collections and easily identify discrepancies at the end of the day.
