Creating a backup generates a complete, compressed snapshot of your entire system — including all transactions, inventory levels, user logs, and configuration settings.

The Backup Process:

Navigate to Administration → Backup & Restore.
Click the Create Backup button.
The system will compile the database and provide a timestamped download link.
Recommendation: Store backups on an external drive or secure cloud storage, not just on the local computer.

Safety-First Restoration

If you ever need to roll back your data or move to a new computer, the Restore tool guided process ensures zero data corruption.

The Restore Process:

Select the backup file from your storage.
Agora will display Backup Details (creation date, file size, system version) before proceeding.
Important: Restoring a database completely overwrites the current data. The system requires an explicit confirmation before starting the process.
