Customer accounts
Centralized management of your customer base, tracking contact details, credit limits, and current balances.
01 Customers Dashboard
The Customers tab provides a comprehensive overview of all registered clients in your system.
Key Features
- Main Table: Displays each customer's "Name", "Phone", "Balance", and "Actions" (edit or delete).
- Search & Filters: Use the search bar to locate specific customers by name or phone. Click "Filters" to narrow down the list by "Tags", "Min Balance", or "Max Balance".
- Column Customization: Click the "Columns" button to toggle visibility for additional fields, such as "# (Serial Number)", "Email", "Address", and "Tags".
- Active Filtering: When a search term is active, a clearable filter chip (e.g.,
Search: "har") appears below the search bar, alongside a "Clear All" button.
02 Creating a Customer
Click the + Create Customer button to add a new client to your database.
Required & Optional Fields
- Basic Info: Enter the mandatory "Name" and "Phone".
- Opening Balance:
- Define if there is an existing financial relationship at the time of creation.
- Select either Customer owes us (Receivable) or We owe customer (Advance), and enter the corresponding PKR amount.
- Financial Controls: Set a specific "Credit Limit" (e.g., PKR 200,000) to restrict sales if their outstanding balance exceeds this threshold.
- Additional Details: Optionally provide an "Email", select predefined "Tags" for segmentation, and enter their physical "Address".
Click Create once all details are finalized.
03 Editing Customers
You can update a customer's information by clicking the pencil icon in the Actions column.
Modifying Records
- The "EDIT CUSTOMER" modal mirrors the creation form but omits the "Opening Balance" field, as starting balances cannot be retroactively altered after account creation.
- You can adjust their "Credit Limit", update contact information, or modify assigned tags at any time.
Real-World Use Cases
- B2B Credit Management: Tracking the purchase history and enforcing strict credit limits for wholesale B2B clients to prevent over-extension.
- VIP Rewards: Identifying high-value customers based on accumulated sales data to offer them exclusive loyalty discounts or early access to new stock.
Use Cases & Scenarios
- Credit Management: Utilize the "Credit Limit" feature to strictly enforce wholesale boundaries, ensuring high-risk clients cannot purchase on credit once they reach their maximum allowed debt.
- Targeted Marketing: Assign "Tags" (like "VIP" or "Wholesale") to quickly filter customers and export targeted lists for promotions or follow-ups.
- Advance Payments: If a customer places a deposit before goods are delivered, record the opening balance as "We owe customer (Advance)" to keep the ledger perfectly balanced from day one.
